The Challenge
Content creators and marketers spend significant time designing Instagram carousel posts in tools like Canva or Photoshop. They needed a purpose-built tool that turns existing text into carousel slides with consistent branding.
The Approach
I built Carouselfy as a React and TypeScript app on Vite. Users paste text or import content from a URL; a Supabase Edge Function calls Claude server-side, so the API key never reaches the browser, and returns the slide copy. Slides render with the user's brand preset and export as images, a PDF or a ZIP. Supabase handles Google sign-in and stores drafts and brand presets in Postgres, while Edge Functions run Stripe checkout and the subscription webhook.
